We had a fantastic time during our 2-night stay at this small hotel. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. The breakfast options were varied and delightful. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful gardens and stunning snow-capped mountains, and it was conveniently close to Kaikoura town center and state highway one.

We really enjoyed the area the Cottage was placed, It was great looking out to the mountains and having the horses in the paddock infront of us, Nice and clean. The dvd selection was also cool
I didnt like the beds - only foam mattress not too comfortable, Also i didnnt like the fact the bathroom was more like a hospital bathroom than a motel bathroom - the pump soap and the toilet roll was a big turn off for me. Apart from that was great!!!

The room was perfectly clean with mountain view when upgraded. There were a freezer and a fridge, enjoyed it. The setting was excellent, close enough to immaculate gardens next to main road, all the wonderful Kaikoura attractions, and lovely Kaikoura.

Staying in one of the cottages looking out onto the snow capped mountains was the highlight of my drive from Hamilton to Dunedin. The cottage was so well appointed and extremely clean. I was met by a really warm, friendly woman who was so kind, helpful and gracious. She made my stay so memorable.
